Tereza Hadravová is a lecturer in the Department of Aesthetics, Charles University in Prague. She serves as Managing Editor of Estetika: The European Journal of Aesthetics and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Langer Circle. She is the principal investigator of the research project Susanne K. Langer: Cognitive Aesthetics (GA25-17273S). As a Fulbright-Masaryk scholar (2021–22), she conducted research at Connecticut College, where Susanne K. Langer held a tenured position for the last thirty years of her life.
Šárka Lojdová is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Aesthetics at the Faculty of Arts. She is a team member of the Susanne K. Langer: Cognitive Aesthetics project funded by the Czech Science Foundation (GACR). In her research, she is interested in Anglo-American philosophy of art and environmental aesthetics, and she focuses on engagement with art, including aesthetic experience, as well as other ways of experiencing art and the environment, especially in regard to the global climate crisis. Occasionally, she translates academic books from English. In addition to her research project, she has an administrative role at the CU rectorate. Outside academia, she enjoys reading and writing about literature.
Aneta Benešová is a doctoral researcher at the Department of Aesthetics, Charles University in Prague. Her research interests focus primarily on literary aesthetics—especially approaches inspired by cognitive science—the nature of fiction, and reader‘s engagement with it. She currently serves as an editorial assistant for Estetika: The European Journal of Aesthetics.
